Do you pay attention to your dreams?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for May 31, 2008:
I pay attention to dreams especially if they repeat themselves.
I had a dream which I would have often about going back to high school after I had
been graduated for many years. All of the students would be much younger than me yet here
I would be in their class rooms. I often would think, "I will skip this class and play hookey, an just walk home." I would wonder while in the dream why I was still in school. Also when I went to walk home I could not remember where home was.
Then I had one last dream of this happening only it was different. There I was in school again and here I am an older woman still in high school. I looked around and saw that there was an older man in the school so I went over to him to ask him if he knew why we were still in the classroom at our high schools even though we graduated years ago. Right when he was going to tell me something, there appeared a gaint wave on the horizon getting taller and taller. I could see that it was going to crash onto not just the school but the town as well.
It did come crashing down but it was like bubbles and I and all the others just sort of floated around in it not getting hurt at all but rather enjoying the ride. After it had retreated the aftermath was that all the books and desks and chairs, all equipment for learning were destroyed and were scattered all over the place ruined. The people of the town were out looking for their furniture and clothing because all their possessions had been picked up and displaced. I walked about and saw a dining room chair but then I thought, "I don't really need that". Then I saw a very pretty dress that would fit my grand daughter and I started to get it only someone came and said it was her dress so I did not take it.
Sometimes when I think of this dream I have the feeling it means that soon we will be living in such a way that schooling will no longer be necessary. Also we will be getting along without so much of what we call our possessions, for they will no longer possess us.
