I'm Interested in the meaning of the number 33

I make this with paper and it takes 180 pieces of paper to make this particular creation. I call it "Freedom's Star" in honor of what Nikola Tesla called Earth.  When this is made there are in all 32 stars, 20 of them being six pointed stars and 12 being five pointed stars which equall 32 but the Whole is counted as One so thus it represents 33 Total.

33 has fascinated me for a long time. I keep finding references to it.

I was one of a circle of luminous beings gathered at another meeting. The thoughts that were shared were but part of our purpose. The very arrangement of our circle and its placement against the stars was itself designed to imprint upon us something more; so that later, if a time came when we found ourselves slumbering beneath a blanket of history, the very image of the Circle of the Faithful of the Stars might shake something loose in us and jolt us into wakefulness. You may remember. The location of our meeting was not upon the physical surface of the earth, but upon the higher frequencies of the spirit world-a location in the earth's upper atmosphere above the 33^rd degree of northern latitude.  From where we gathered we could see below us the steady rotation of the Northern Hemisphere, the passage of its oceans, islands, continents.

Stellar and planetary polarities are not "opposites." They are complementary ends of a single vibrational continuum, ends of a unified spectrum that begin, back to back, at a common point on the great Medicine Wheel and then move apart, each to complete nearly-but not quite-the full 180 degrees of their respective halves of the whole.

Just short of meeting, they stop to face each other, 359 degrees of the Wheel complete. They pause then, allowing the charge between them to build and grow until there comes the spark of lightning that completes the full 360 degree circle of the Medicine wheel in the illumination that here clothes you in biological form.

Below thirty-two impulses per second vibration is inaudible as well as invisible; above that, vibration is heard as a note of music. "

At 33 impulses per second we have a note of music and can see a visible form)

The thirty three degrees of Masonry stem from these thirty-three principles.

"Much use is made of Kabbalistic symbolism in the higher degrees of Masonry and entire rites have been built upon it.

The thirty-three centers spoken of also refer to the thirty-three principles of the Kabballa. entire rites have been built upon it. The Mason symbolizes the Spiritual plane as the broken triangle, a symbol that he has climbed the seven steps("the seven ways to bliss" or seven attributes) and passed into the thirty two degrees and entered the thirty-third which is a symbol of the Supreme plane of the Spirit."

He also manifested certain Law by which the solar system must operate. There are thirty-three fixed laws a planet must be governed by in order to be actually and perfectly balanced in nature. Nature in itself is the thirty-three laws. Each world should know these laws and abide by them so they may have harmony and true love to keep them in balance.

Concerning Quetzalcoatl

There is a picture of Quetzalcoatl  descending from Heaven on a ladder of thirty-three rungs

(So to me the 33 is about something that is universal, something that shows completion, and it is just a very intersting number which I would love to have more information on. If anyone has other knowledge about 33, I would appreciate knowing it. )
